Frasers Property Europe acquires two logistics objects in Breda

Frasers Property Europe (FPE) has completed the acquisition of two logistics buildings at Hazeldonk industrial park in Breda. The properties were sold by an international logistics service provider. The transaction reflects the further expansion by FPE of its logistics and light industrial portfolio in the Netherlands.

The two buildings have a joint surface area of more than 12,500 m² of lettable area. The buildings are situated on two plots with a total area of approximately 26,000 m². The properties are currently fully let: one property was acquired through a sale-and-leaseback and has considerable potential for redevelopment that FPE wants to implement in the long term. The other object, with a surface area of over 8,000 m², has been leased to a German retail chain.

“The expected redevelopment represents the first FPE development project in the Netherlands. We are working on more logistical and light-industrial developments in FPE’s core markets of Germany and the Netherlands, in line with Frasers Property’s strategy in Europe”, said Dr. Wulf Meinel, CEO of FPE.

FPE was advised on this transaction by international real estate advisor Cushman & Wakefield (commercial) and van Doorne (legal / tax). The seller was advised on this sale by De Lobel & Partners “real estate experts”.
