Expansion 40,000 sqm for Lidl in Venlo, growth to 110,000 sqm logistics center under one roof

Lidl agreed with Next Level Development for the development of a new warehouse of approx. 40,000 m² at the James Tobinstraat in Venlo, located at business park Trade Port Noord. This extension will be added to the existing development of approx. 70,000 sqm. As a result of this expansion, the total area of ​​the XXL-distribution center leased by Lidl will be approx. 110,000 sqm.

The warehouse will be used for the storage and transhipment of non-food items intended for delivery via webshop channels. In addition, several DCs in Europe are supplied from this warehouse. Nunner Logistics will run this logistics operation on behalf of Lidl.

 Preparations are being made for placing solar panels and the project will be certified as the first XXL development in Venlo according to the BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ sustainability quality mark.
