Transaction | Office space | S-Dock Schiedam

PingProperties recently signed a 10-year lease agreement with Batenburg JB Systems for its S-DOCK office building in Schiedam consisting of approximately 1,254 m² of office space and 28 parking spaces.

After renovation in the middle of this year, Batenburg JB Systems will occupy the entire 11th and 12th floors.

The office building has a striking design and is located at Karel Doormanweg 66 in Schiedam, directly alongside the A4 motorway. The building consists of 12 floors with a lettable floor area of 8,830 m² and an indoor car park for some 182 cars.

S-DOCK

With the announced departure of SBM Offshore last year, PingProperties has repositioned the office building under a new name: S-DOCK (https://www.s-dock.nl). PingProperties sees a lot of rental potential in the striking building with current floor areas combined with the high level of sustainability and quality hardly offered in the area. The building will be transformed into a sustainable building with a modern look and a strong brand identity that is easily accessible by both public transport and car. S-DOCK will soon meet the highest sustainability standards: Energy label A++ and BREEAM In-use Very Good, but also excel in terms of design and functionality. The office building will have a reception area, coffee bar, restaurant and formal and informal meeting rooms on the common ground floor. The new outdoor terrace will be a pleasant place for relaxation and connection.
