Acquired | Logistics Property | Port of Moerdijk
Cortona Investments expands its portfolio with logistics property in the Port of Moerdijk.
Cortona Investments has acquired a logistics building in Klundert, strategically located in the Port of Moerdijk. The sale-and-leaseback agreement was concluded with Nord Cargo Moerdijk, part of Neele Vat Logistics, whereby the seller leases the property back.
The property comprises approximately 3,600 m² of industrial and office space and is situated on a spacious plot of 8,570 m². With this acquisition, Cortona Investments strengthens its position within the logistics and light-industrial property segment. The location in Port of Moerdijk is considered one of the most strategic logistics hubs in the Netherlands, thanks to its excellent multimodal accessibility by road, water and rail, and its direct connections to the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp.
This proposition aligns with Cortona Investments’ investment strategy, which focuses on building a sustainable long-term portfolio in future-proof logistics locations.
In the transaction, Cortona Investments was advised by De Lobel & Partners – real estate experts (commercial), by HMK Notarissen (legal) and by CBRE (technical).
